Utility Contractors of America, Inc. (UCA) began its journey in 1987 in Lubbock, TX. Founded by Ty, Dwain, Britt, and Troy Lane along with Chris Balios, the company was built on a vision to become the most reliable heavy civil utility contractor in Texas. In 2021, ownership of UCA transitioned to Jonathan Ziegner, who continues to uphold and advance the same core commitments on which the company was founded. Over the last four decades, we have achieved that goal by prioritizing the one thing that matters most in the construction industry: trust. We don’t just complete projects; we build long-term relationships by delivering quality work on time and providing a professional experience from pre-construction through the final warranty.
